2026 October Solo Exhibition at the Ponce Cultural Center, Puerto Rico
Institutional Meetings in Ponce Lead to 2026 Exhibition Invitation
- During a recent visit to Ponce, Puerto Rico, Oscar Luis Martínez met with leading cultural figures to present his work and monograph Between Memory and Metamorphosis. He met with curator Iraida Rodríguez-Negrón and curator Bianca Ortiz at the Museo de Arte de Ponce, engaging in dialogue about his artistic practice and its cultural significance.
- Martínez also met with Néstor Murray-Irizarry, Director of Casa Paoli, who offered the historic space for future exhibitions and expressed interest in serving as curator for an upcoming shows.
- In addition, Martínez met with the leadership of the Ponce Cultural Center, where he was invited to present a major exhibition scheduled for October 2026.
- These meetings mark an important step in strengthening institutional collaboration and expanding the presence of Martínez’s work within Puerto Rico’s cultural landscape.
