Metamorphosis / Genesis as Presence
Metamorphosis / Genesis unfolds as a mythology of transformation—an original cosmology I created by reimagining religion through painting. In this body of work, figures are caught between dissolution and becoming, embodying both the fragility of mortality and the possibility of rebirth. The canvases serve as sacred spaces where the boundaries between body, spirit, and cosmos blur, opening a vision of creation as an ongoing, living process.
Metamorphosis / Genesis in Symbolism
Symbols within the series—horns, roosters, branching trees, multiple gazes—form the language of this invented mythology. They echo ancestral rituals and sacred archetypes while simultaneously constructing a new visual theology. These images are not merely borrowed from established traditions but transformed into a personal mythos that challenges conventional religious narratives, proposing instead a vision of spirituality rooted in metamorphosis, continuity, and renewal.
Metamorphosis / Genesis in Transformation
In this mythology, metamorphosis is both process and revelation. Figures merge with natural elements, faces multiply into cosmic patterns, and cycles of decay give rise to new forms of life. Through these transformations, Metamorphosis / Genesis asserts that creation is never complete—it is perpetual, recursive, and always in dialogue with the divine. Each painting becomes a chapter in this evolving scripture, inviting viewers to witness religion remade through art, where myth and image generate a new paradigm of spiritual becoming.
